The Waterford mouth is made up of many links making it difficult for the horse to lean or take hold of the bit. The hanging cheeks allow a little pressure to help encourage flexing. Mouthpiece thickness: 18mm. Cheek height: 110mm. Stainless steel is the most common material for bits. Durable, easy to clean, tasteless and does not rust.
